Olcconen Industrial Park, Pyhäjärvi

Olcconen Industrial Park is an industrial development area jointly developed by Callio and the City of Pyhäjärvi to support the needs of the new energy economy, the data economy, and electricity intensive industries.

The area is already attracting investments, including a hybrid project combining renewable energy generation and energy storage, as well as a data centre development. Through these projects, Olcconen is transitioning into a tangible investment destination.

The key strengths of Olcconen include ready-to-build industrial zoning, expanding power transmission infrastructure, high quality data connectivity, and strong logistics links. The area is located close to Highway 27 and the Iisalmi-Ylivieska railway line.

Olcconen offers development plots for data centres, battery energy storage systems (BESS), solar energy projects, Power-to-X (P2X) developments, and other electricity intensive industries. The area is particularly well suited for operators whose location decisions depend on reliable access to power, clearly designated industrial land use, good accessibility, and a well-established industrial operating environment.
